CRISPY

Panko fried calamari is light and crispy. Serve it with spicy marinara or ginger sesame sauce.


Heat olive oil in a wok or deep frying pan (never use extra virgin for frying)
Dust cleaned calamari rings and tenacles in flour> then dip into whisked eggs> dip in Panko> Fry>
Remove when calamari is golden brown> place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve with spicy marinara or ginger sesame sauce

Ginger Sesame Sauce: Mix together: 1/2 C tamari, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger root>stir and serve
